Coconut Flavored Candied Sweet Potatoes

This is a candied sweet potato dish made using Tropical Maria’s frozen sweet potatoes. Since ASC’s sweet potatoes come cooked, all you need to do is to lightly fry them, so preparing them is a quick and error-free process. You can also sprinkle black sesame seeds over this dish to make a side dish for lunch boxes. (ingredients for 2 servings)
Tropical Maria diced sweet potatoes | 200g |
Salad oil | As needed |
A Honey | 1 tbsp |
A Soy sauce | 1/2 tsp |
Coconut flakes | As needed |
Black sesame seeds | As needed |
Preparation
- Microwave the frozen sweet potatoes (or allow them to thaw naturally).
- Heat a large amount of salad oil in a frying pan. When the oil reaches about 180 degrees, add 1 and fry until the surface is browned.
- Add A and combine with seasonings while swirling the ingredients in the frying pan. Sprinkle with coconut flakes and black sesame seeds to finish.
